Endless opportunities

First Christian Church – Troy provides many activities and programs for children, youth and adults to serve not only the local church, but the community as well. Mission-oriented, many of the church’s local programs support agencies and organizations that serve the larger community. Bible Study groups, prayer groups, and special-featured activities are all designed for growth in one’s spiritual faith journey.

First Christian Church supports monthly a variety of both denominational as well as local outreach projects. These include: Week of Compassion, Mid-America Region -Reconciliation, Easter Offering, Christmas Offering, Thanksgiving Offering, Matthew 25, Bread for Life Food Pantry, Bright Futures, Buddy Bags, First Step Preschool Scholarship Fund, and Pastor’s Immediate Response Fund. Additionally, the church supports Operation Christmas Child during Advent each year, and through the Edna Ricks Circle sends “College Care Packages” to church college students twice a year and the Dedication of Backpacks.
