Senior Minister of First Christian Church

He came to the church in August of 2015 from his last pastorate in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. Dr. Moore earned his BA at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, his Master of Divinity degree at Brite Divinity School – Texas Christian University, Ft. Worth, Texas, and his Phd. In Religion from Christian Bible College, Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Dr. Moore has served churches in Oklahoma, Texas, California, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Rev. Dr. Moore also served at one time as Executive Director of Big Brothers and Sisters of Crawford County, Inc. Dr. Moore has previously served on the Regional Boards of the Christian Church in the Capital Area and the Christian Church in Pennsylvania, where he also served as Treasurer and Moderator of the Christian Church. Additionally, Rev. Moore served as Vice-President and President of the Christian Associates of the Shenango Valley.

Rev. Moore is married to Naomi Uy-Moore, a teacher in the Wentzville School District. They are the parents of four children, and have five grandchildren. One of Rev. Moore’s hobbies is collecting classic cars.

Associate Minister of Family and Youth

He came to the church in August of 2018 from Weatherford, Texas. Rev. Rash earned his BS at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas and his Master of Divinity degree at Brite Divinity School.

Rev. Rash met his wife, Brandi, while in high school in Macon, MO. They have two wonderful children, Dean & Eliza. Rev. Rash enjoys baseball (especially the St. Louis Cardinals) and college football (especially the TCU Horned Frogs).

My name is Jaimie Simms and it is an honor to be the director of First Step Preschool.

I possess a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I have been a childhood educator and program director for over 25 years. I believe in the importance of providing high quality preschool and care for children. Together with a team of dedicated and creative teachers, I am committed to providing your children with an excellent early childhood education in a fun and nurturing environment.

My husband and I have been married for 26 years.  We have one son together.  I enjoy spending time with my husband, spending time outside when the weather permits and visiting my son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter as often as possible.  I also enjoy playing frisbee with my Labrador Retriever.

It is a privilege to be a part of so many children's lives and to share in the growth and development of every one of them.
